How do I get a UK student visa?

How do I get a UK student visa?
I'm in the U.K now on a Working Holiday Maker Visa. I'm quite keen in going to a nearby college. How do I obtain a student Visa, roughly how much will it cost & Can I apply for it in the U.K, or will I have to go back to South Africa first?

You just have to have enrollment papers that show that you are a student and you are paying tuition. The Enrollment papers were all I needed anyway. Hmmm. You don't like real advice I see. Thanks for the thumbs down. Glad you appreciated it. ;) Well its not rocket science. Figure it on your own then. I did.

Don't know in what country you reside! But over most off the world a student loan is never written off. Not even if you declare bankruptcy. Would be very dumb if they did. Everyone takes a loan, studies and disappears as soon as he/she is qualified? Not good business!! Peace.

living in south africa and working as a software engineer?

living in south africa and working as a software engineer?
hi I am right now doing my bachelors in computer science in USA. I want to move to south africa sometime in the future and pursue a job in IT and computer field. I wanted to know if it is better to finish my masters here and then move there to get a job or finish my bachelors and then move to SA for my masters and later get a job.which of those is a better way to get a decent job? and how are the job prospectives in the IT field in south africa? also how hard is to live there as a female indian student? I lived in Uganda for 15 years so weather is not a problem for me.additional information will be appreciated;I am really looking forward to move there.thanks

My personal opinion would be that you should ideally finish your IT masters in the US rather than in SA - that way you have more international options. Most places give additional training to their employees when they start so that they can some specialised knowledge for any particular field. Unfortunately, at the moment the IT industry is relatively saturated so you'd have to have a rather obscure specialisation (ie: mainframe programming) to really stand out from the crowd. Luckily for you though, being Indian you could benefit from the BEE system we have in place which puts you closer to the top of the list for when companies are hiring. You should be fine here and have a great time. The crime can be a small worry if you're not familiar with an area or you stop paying attention to whats going on around you.
