What am i supposed to do in such a situation good people?

What am i supposed to do in such a situation good people?
My girlfriend of almost two years and I are students in South Africa. She is from TZ and i'm form Kenya. This is our final year year in Varsity and after this i intend to stay here but she wants to go back to Tz because she hates this country. How do i convince her to stay behind ? The only reason i can't leave is because i'm an actuarial student and if i want to progress in my career then i have to be in South Africa or abroad because the rest of Africa looks up to South Africa Actuarial wise.

Give her the pros and cons of moving out or staying but never decide for her. If you love someone you have to set her free.
2 :
If she hates it there she will probably never really be happy even if she choses to stay there with you. If you really love her its up to you to make the sacrifice, and if the sacrifice is not worth making than maybe its for the best if she leaves.
3 :
I can understand you and her. You have to stay so you can have a good job and make progress and want her to stay because she loves you. And she probably doesn't liek the country and doesn't want to be there any more than necessary. I don't know what the two of you should do. You can't force her to stay somewhere she doesn't want to stay and she should consider staying if she loves you. I mean, it's easier to live somewhere you don't want to live with someone you love then the opposite.

Are you saying that your (potential) career is more important than the woman you so deeply love? Take a deep breath, and book a flight to anywhere. South Africa sucks anyway. Lots better places to forge your future.

This is a chance to see how stable your relationship. First, if she wants to go back, let her go. Second, if you see that the best way for you to succeed is to stay, you have to stay. If she will choose to stay, she will regret that she did not try her way. If you will choose to leave, you will always think about your lost options. If she doesn't want to stay, she is not ready to sacrifice her life for you. Something wrong in this relationship. Do you think she is really a good match? Let her go and time will decide everything. May be she will change her mind when you and her will be apart...

tough one, remember you cannot make her do anything she doesnt want to do. but if its true love you should be okay because when in love we all make sacrifices to keep it going. just my opinion

Forbes Lever Baker (FLB) lectures in South Africa?

Forbes Lever Baker (FLB) lectures in South Africa?
As a going University student, where lectures halls are filled to capacity,no airconswith a chalk baord in the front & the lecturer on a poduim chatting away. Just started going to Forbes Lever Baker & I must just say brilliant. Airconditioned lecture rooms, not filled to capacity, fully trained hands on lecturers with projecter screens & with a mike & surround sound with visual effects & everything just for there subjects. Lecturers who give you work & are still coming by to cheak if you doing okay & sit next to you in confused & help out. Im impressed. I was just wondering does that happen at all/most universities? Aironditioned, lecture rooms, visual effects, projecter screens as boards & full suround sounds, where lectureres are fully trained & skilled in what they teaching? Certainly one of the best I have been to here in Johannesburg,South Africa.

Well in England most of them are like that and we have the latest technology and no longer need chalk boards, unless we are having an art lesson because it is then easier for the teacher to show shading in parts of the picture by using a chalk board, as you can't really show shading with a pen. :)

How do you become a teacher in South Africa?

How do you become a teacher in South Africa?
I am an Irish Student and I am about to graduate Uni this year with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and History. I hope to then be accepted to another uni to complete a Higher Diploma in Education (the HDip) where I would qualify to teach both English and History in Ireland. Unfortunately there is not a great demand for teachers in Ireland at present due to the current economic climate. As a little girl I visited relatives in Cape town, South Africa and loved it very much. I have always imagined going back there or even living and working there. There is not much information on the qualifications needed to become a teacher in South Africa, or none that I can find. I was just curious as to what one might need to do to qualify as a teacher there. Your help will be very much appreciated.

The University of Cape Town (UCT) without a doubt! I studied there as a foreign student (albeit fromAfrica!). It is a great institution in an awesome city. Next best would be University of the Witwatersrand. It is english speaking despite the name! And academically probably on a par with UCT, but as a city Cape Town offers intenational students far more and there are plenty of international students there. You can learn more about Cape Town in a very personal way on this site: http://www.cape-town-family-holiday-magic.com/y-a-2-homepage You can find the UCT website here: http://www.uct.ac.za/ Good luck in your quest!
