You need to submit transcripts, SAT scores, TOEFL scores, and letters of recommendation. You'll need to apply in December to start the following September. Harvard admits fewer than 6% of applicants - you really need to find a way to stand out. If they only accept one student from your country, is it going to be you?

It is extremely difficult to get into Harvard. It is a very selective private university and does not accept all applicants -- not even close. However, the best way to start, to demonstrate that you have initiative and interest, is to make your inquiries at Harvard itself. Since you are already 21, you may be talking about postgraduate study in a specific field rather than earning an undergraduate degree. I'm giving you the Harvard website, and if you are hoping to apply to earn an undergraduate degree, then you should click on "Admissions and Aid" at the top right. You should be given a way to contact the Admissions Office among other information. If your hope is to apply to earn a postgraduate degree in a specific field, then you will need to locate the school or department on the site and contact it directly. Click on "Schools".

USA student programs?

USA student programs?
Are there any 1mnth student exchanges/host family programs available in the USA during the Dec/Jan months ? I am a 17yr old student from South Africa and would love to travel to the US. However all the websites I have visited have a large fee plus the air-ticket on top of all that. Is there any programs where all they charge you for is your air-fare?

Pretoria isnt really than hectic when it comes to crime and such but i dont know of any good places you could stay. Try gumtree.co.za there will be some postings for flats avalible.
2 :
The area in Villeria and Wonderboom South is relatively quiet but unless you have transport you should stay on a bus route. Sunnyside is not to far but not very safe and Berea might be a bit expensive for a student - Google SA, Pretoria and i am sure you will find suitable accommodation I live in Pretoria SA
3 :
If you don't have transport - try to find accomodation in Hatfield. It's walking distance from UP and there are alot of apartments built for this specific reason. Otherwise - you can try to get into contact with someone that rents out a room in a commune. It's cheap and safer because you won't be living alone.

I am a mere teen so I cannot provide you with much information. And you may need to research a few backgrounds But I use to live in Auckland. It’s a great place it really is. But then again. The air pollution is something uh troubling… I generally prefer Auckland, maybe I’m biased. But It’s like the Sydney of Australia. Or the Los Angeles of America. The most ACTIVE city. Sure, Canberra, Washington DC, and Wellington are capitols. But it’s not the most ACTIVE and generally speaking… good(?) or the most involved in other … stuff. Do you get what I’m saying? It’s like the City that’s alive. And contains the most ‘privileges’

Auckland is a city with many people of different nationalities, but it is also the biggest city in NZ. It has the most opportunities work wise but the housing up there is so expensive its ridiculous. There are many other smaller cities and towns around NZ that also have a lot of work opportunities. I would check out www.seek.co.nz it is an employment website or www.trademe.co.nz where you can also find employment and rental properties. NZ is really a great place to live and is considerably safer than many other countries in the world. Good Luck!
