South Africa University?
South Africa University?
Did you see what those varsity students did to the poor domestic workers on e-tv news. They thought it was all in the name of fun. :-( White people here on this forum are always blaming blacks. What have you got to say now? I am very sad. I never knew such stuff still happened in South Africa. Those are friendly and innocent workers who clean the same students rooms :-(

It is disgusting. I just read an article about it on iol . It makes me sick. I can't believe that anyone can treat another person in that way. I hope that they are severely punished, they need to learn respect and manners. ADD: I'm glad that the University seems to be taking it seriuosly http://www.int.iol.co.za/index.php?set_id=1&click_id=13&art_id=nw20080226232513378C873038

Did you see what those white varsity students did to the poor domestic workers on e-tv news? They(workers) thought it was all in the name of fun. :-( White people here on this forum always blame blacks of being unfair in the new South Africa. What have you got to say now? I am very sad. I never knew such stuff still happened in South Africa. Those are friendly and innocent workers who clean the same students rooms :-( If it was a student on student affair I would have concluded that it was just a prank. The domestic workers are to blame as well. Why did they accept to do it in the first place? :-(

This is a very distressing report. Everyone should condemn behaviour like this.

I posted a question on this a few minutes ago. Appalling to say the least!

Students are just students. We propably would have done the same when I was a student.....The are making such an issue of the whole situation, it is not as if they raped the old ladies. But it is "ugly" what they did.............but why did the "meide" participate are they daft or what?
4 :
And probably steal everything that isn't nailed down. but I didn't hear about this, I was probably overseas, got back tuesday last week, would some one post a link so that I can see it? thanx for the video, the women dont look stressed at all they seem to be enjoying themselves.
5 :
It was just a larf mate. Have you darkies lost your sense of humour or are you so ashamed of the atrocities you commit blaming the "legacy of apartheid." that you have to scratch around to find something to lay at Whiteys door. I didnt see any comment about Jon Quelane labelling Black Journalists who walked out of the Blacks Only Meeting as Coconuts. Maybe he was also having a larf.

Go to uscis.gov. There are several ways. Probably the easiest is a bona-fide marriage to a US citizen, and that's not really super easy. Your question is really wide open. If you are trying to get a green card so you can get in-state tuition in Florida, forget it. That will not happen. If you are studying medicine or engineering and want to live in the US permanently, that could be a much different picture. The US makes it much easier for immigrants with skills that are badly needed. On the other hand, if you are studying world literature or philosophy or art history, um, not so easy. Now, as for the working thing - if you need to earn money to help pay a few bills while you are in school, you can apply for an employment authorization card. As long as you are still enrolled in school, you can work up to 20 hours a week while school is in session. Download form I-765 and the instructions will explain what you need to do to get the permit.

Permanent Residence can be obtained through petition of either immediate family member or employment by US Employer. http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_1326.html http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=4f719c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=4f719c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

Urgent question for getting an Uk student visa?
Urgent question for getting an Uk student visa?
I am from South Africa, and I am in the US as an international student. My question is: Is it possible for me to transfer to UK from the USA? What I want to know is can I apply for the Uk visa being in the US without having to go to my country for that. thank you for answering.

You can apply, But its sure to be rejected. They don't know who you are, and no references from your Government supporting the fact that your not a criminal and just a student. The UK is very strict on these things since we`re scared of people. Haha. What I would do is go back to South Africa, and apply from there. It will maximize your chances of getting into the UK. Good luck friend :)

The site below is the official website for everything to do with travelling and working to the United Kingdom. It will tell you if you need a visa and if you do how to apply for one. http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk You have to answer a short questionnaire. 1. The purpose of your visit. 2.Country of nationality. 3.Current location. and all the relevant information will then be given.
3 :
South Africa is a Commonwealth country and its citizens do not need a visa to visit the United Kingdom as general visitor for up to six month. If you plan to stay longer or for other reasons you will need a visa. You must apply from your place of citizenship or residency. If you should hold a long term F-1 student visa and hold a residency in the US you may apply from the United States. If you just hold a I-94 for 180 days or less you should better do the application from your home country. Source(s): http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/infs/inf5students#Q4
